Job summary

Venus Aerospace is seeking a Propulsion Drawing Checker/CAD Modeler in Houston to help create and verify drawings from 3D models. You will work with propulsion hardware from parts to engine assemblies and PPMS systems in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years of propulsion drawing experience and 10+ years of CAD experience with large assemblies, using TC/NX, SolidWorks, and CATIA. Strong collaboration and communication are essential for success on cross-functional teams.

• 5+ years of rocket propulsion drawing experience.
• 10+ years of CAD experience with large assemblies.
• Proficient in CAD tools TC/NX, SolidWorks, CATIA.
• Excellent communication for a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of propulsion piece parts and assemblies.
• Generate CAD models and drawings of components and engine systems.
• Collaborate with test and manufacturing teams.
• Set the standard for drawing checks and GD&T mastery.
