Job summary

Venus Aerospace is seeking a Propulsion Drawing Checker/CAD Modeler to create and validate drawings from 3D models, ensuring release for flight hardware. You’ll handle propulsion parts and engine assemblies, collaborating with design, test, and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires extensive CAD experience (10+ years) with large assemblies, strong communication, and GD&T mastery. On-site in Houston, TX, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of rocket propulsion drawing experience.
• 10+ years of CAD experience, particularly with large assemblies.
• Experience with CAD tools such as TC/NX, SolidWorks, CATIA.
• Strong communication skills for a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of propulsion parts and assemblies.
• Generate CAD models and drawings of components and engine systems.
• Collaborate with test and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
• Set the standard for drawing checking and release processes.
