Job summary

Venus Aerospace in Houston is seeking a Sr. Propulsion Engineer to design, analyze, and develop propulsion hardware from parts to engine and PPMS systems. You will translate concepts into flight-ready hardware in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates have 5+ years in aerospace propulsion, CAD in NX/SolidWorks, and strong systems engineering skills. This onsite role at Ellington, Houston offers competitive benefits and stock options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (required).
• 5+ years of aerospace vehicle and engine systems engineering/design experience.
• Experience with CAD tools and large assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of propulsion piece parts and assemblies.
• Generate CAD models of components and engine systems.
• Model fluid networks and select components for engine systems, coordinating with suppliers.
