Job summary

Parkhill seeks a strategically minded Manager, Proposals & Marketing Coordination to lead the Marketing & Pursuit Coordination team, overseeing Senior Marketing & Pursuit Coordinators, Marketing & Pursuit Coordinators, and the Proposal Content Manager.

This role blends leadership, strategy, and hands-on proposal development while establishing structure, consistency, and accountability across a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading or supervising proposal teams or cross-functional pursuit teams.
• Advanced proficiency in InDesign and PowerPoint, with guidance for teams.
• Strong layout sense and design judgment.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar CRM.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume proposals and deadlines.
• Experience improving proposal processes and QA/QC systems.
• Ability to influence across business development and technical teams.
• Experience using AI-driven content tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a proposals and marketing team with clear roles and workload balance.
• Oversee end-to-end development of responses to RFPs/RFQs and interview decks.
• Define capacity, balance workload, and align resources to high-value pursuits.
• Enforce go/no-go decision processes with stakeholders.
• Refine QA/QC processes with clear ownership and timelines.
• Maintain escalation paths for time-sensitive situations.
• Structure proposal and marketing workflows and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Coordinate marketing requests and prioritize within workflows.
• Collaborate with Creative Director on InDesign and PowerPoint templates.
• Work with Content Manager to leverage project profiles and case studies.
• Partner with Business Development to develop win strategies and differentiators.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for materials.
• Write/edit proposals during peak workloads.
• Guide use of AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
