A staffing firm in Houston is seeking a Proposal Writer with 2+ years of experience in Construction, Engineering, or Environmental projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills, familiarity with government contracts, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Proposal Writer for Construction, Engineering or Environmental projects.
• Experience with full lifecycle proposal development including document management and compliance matrices.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear content.
• Strong technical writing and editing skills; translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive content.
• Advanced MS Office, Graphic Design software, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Marketing or business development experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction terminology.
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communication, Business, Marketing, Media & Journalism or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead full lifecycle proposal development including document management and compliance matrices.
• Develop technical narratives and win themes for bids.
• Prepare templates and respond to RFPs effectively.
• Coordinate with engineering and marketing teams to align content.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive content.

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Houston, TX area for an individual with 2+ years’ experience as a Proposal Writer with a background in Engineering, Construction, or Environmental projects and Marketing. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including 100% paid medical insurance for you and your dependents, life insurance, 401k with matching, profit sharing, PTO and other outstanding benefits/perks.

Required work experience includes:

• 2+ years of experience as a Proposal Writer for Construction, Engineering or Environmental projects is a MUST
• Experienced with full lifecycle proposal development including: document management, compliance matrices, technical narratives, landing bids, RFP’s, template creation, etc. is a MUST
• Experience with Government Contracts, Bids, and Procedures is a MUST
• Strong technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive content is a MUST
• Advanced skill with Microsoft Office, Graphic Design software, and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) is a MUST
• Prior Marketing or Business Development experience (including illustration or generation of marketing graphics, charts, diagrams, etc.) is a BIG PLUS
• Knowledge of engineering and construction terminology and practices is a BIG PLUS
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communication, Business, Marketing, Media & Journalism or equivalent experience is a MUST
