The ideal candidate will have experience managing proposal documentation, interpreting RFP requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and producing high-quality written materials in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.## Key Responsibilities* Support priority bid opportunities for new business pursuits in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.* Write, edit, and organize proposal content, including technical narratives, resumes, project descriptions, and supporting materials to create clear, persuasive, and compliant submissions.* Synthesize input from multiple contributors and present content in a consistent, unified voice.* Translate complex technical and operational information into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.* Ensure all written materials are grammatically correct, well-structured, and formatted according to RFP/RFI requirements.* Review RFPs, RFIs, and related documents to identify requirements, instructions, evaluation criteria, and compliance needs.* Extract and prioritize key information from meetings, discussions, and reference documents.* Engage with cross-functional teams by asking targeted questions to gather accurate content and clarify client needs.* Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and graphic designers to develop complete proposal packages.* Manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, adjusting priorities as business needs shift.* Apply strong organizational and time-management skills to track assignments, milestones, and deliverables.* Utilize technology and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe, SharePoint, Teams) to draft, format, store, and revise proposal materials.* Support social media, marketing efforts, and innovative technology tools used to reach new clients and expand the customer base.## Required Experience & Skills* Demonstrated writing experience, with the ability to write clearly, accurately, and efficiently under deadline.* Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and pivot quickly as priorities change.* Self-directed, accountable, and capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.* Proven ability to review RFP/RFI documents and extract requirements, instructions, and compliance elements.* Comfortable working with remote and cross-functional teams.* Ability to understand and communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.* Proficient in Microsoft Word (styles, formatting, templates) and Adobe tools.* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including email, phone, and virtual collaboration platforms.* Ability to support or manage proposal tasks with clear action items, timelines, and deadlines.## Preferred / Advantageous Skills* Marketing or communications experience* Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing* Graphic design or visual layout experience* Experience supporting federal, state, or commercial proposals preferred## Education & Eligibility* Must be legally eligible to work in the United States* High school diploma or GED required* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred* 2+ years of related, verifiable writing experience preferred## Other DutiesThis job description outlines the primary functions of the role but is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or activities.
