Job description

What You Will Do:

GFT is seeking a Proposal Manager to join our BD&M team in one of our offices in Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Mechanicsburg, or Valley Forge), Georgia (Atlanta), or Maryland (Owings Mills or Baltimore).

GFT's Shared Service team, including Human Resources, Legal, Accounting & Finance, IT Services, and Marketing & Communications, supports the company's global operations and is key to transforming the business and improving efficiency. This team is essential in delivering infrastructure consulting and design services.

What you'll be challenged to do:

The Proposal Manager supports multiple business lines to achieve growth in the federal market, leading key business development efforts such as strategic proposal management, capture planning, and supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Proposals: Lead at least two complex proposals concurrently, supervise proposal teams, support interview preparations, and manage opportunity tracking in CRM.
  2. Capture Planning: Support capture activities, facilitate workshops, assist with positioning tasks, and coordinate with marketing communications, maintaining CRM documentation.
  3. Client Management: Coordinate activities for Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients, support meetings, and ensure documentation compliance in CRM.

Education & Experience:

  • A 4-year degree in English, marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in proposals and sales/technical presentations, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in capture planning, team leadership, and familiarity with GFT core service areas.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range is $105,000 - $135,000, dependent on experience and location. Benefits include hybrid work, comprehensive insurance, 401(k), PTO, tuition reimbursement, professional development, and incentive compensation.
