Responsibilities

• Lead the full proposal process from pre-proposal through post-proposal.
• Analyze RFPs/RFQs/RFIs to identify requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Create schedules, outlines, guidelines, and ensure timely, compliant submissions.
• Develop proposal tools: matrices, kick-off materials, storyboards, and briefings.
• Collaborate with executives, BD, and SMEs; prepare client presentations.

Our client in Providence is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the proposal process from start to finish, ensuring RFP responses are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.

This role involves close collaboration with executives, business development teams, and subject matter experts to develop high-quality, competitive proposals. Compensation & Highlights:

• Pay Rate: $75,000 - $115,000, based on experience
• Location: Providence, RI (in-office)
• Direct hire, full-time

Responsibilities of the Proposal Manager:

• Lead the full proposal process from pre-proposal through post-proposal, and analyze RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to identify every requirement and evaluation criterion.
• Prepare and distribute proposal schedules, outlines, and guidelines, make sure submissions are compliant and on time, and respond quickly to RFP amendments.
• Build proposal tools such as compliance matrices, kick-off materials, storyboards, mockups, and color review briefings.
• Partner with executives, business development, and subject matter experts, and prepare presentations for client interviews.
• Find and track new opportunities through procurement sites and bid portals, support business development with white papers, case studies, and marketing collateral, and maintain the company website, project data sheets, and proposal content databases.

Qualifications of the Proposal Manager:

• Experience leading full-cycle proposal development for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines at once, including rapid-turnaround submissions.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills, and comfort working alongside executives and subject matter experts.
• Experience supporting marketing and business development through collateral, case studies, competitive analysis, and website content.
