Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed proposal schedules, set deadlines, and track progress.
• Gather information from SMEs, writers, designers, and stakeholders; edit, format, and ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop marketing materials, presentations, and graphics aligned with branding.
• Coordinate internal and external team meetings; document kick-offs and debriefs; facilitate reviews.
• Ensure proposals meet RFP/RFI requirements, maintain standards, and archive materials in a centralized library.
• Participate in industry events and continuous learning to stay current with best practices.

This role supports our corporate office in Lexington Park, MD.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• The Proposal Manager will create and maintain detailed proposal schedules, set deadlines, and track progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Gather information from subject matter experts, writers, designers, and other stakeholders, ensuring all proposal sections are accurate, persuasive, and compliant. Responsibilities will include editing, formatting, and reviewing content for consistency and quality.
• May develop - or work with - marketing team to develop marketing materials, presentations, and graphics that align with company branding and enhance the visual appeal of proposals.
• Coordinate internal and external team meetings, initiate and document proposal kick-off and debrief meetings, and facilitate review sessions to incorporate feedback effectively.
• Ensure proposals meet all RFP/RFI requirements, adhere to company standards, and maintain high-quality presentation as a key responsibility. This includes archiving materials for future use and maintaining a centralized library of templates and past submissions.
• Participation in industry events, networking, and continuous learning is encouraged to enhance skills and maintain awareness of best practices

Basic Requirements:

• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities; excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail; proficiency in proposal software, Microsoft Office, and presentation tools.
• Minimum of 7+ years’ relevant experience in proposal development, project coordination required. Role will involve strategic planning and oversight of multiple proposals.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Years of experience can be substituted for degree.

Security Clearance:

Secret or Top Secret (must be a US Citizen).
