Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Tampa is seeking a Proposal Coordinator I to lead the development of high-quality proposals from start to finish, coordinating with technical staff to ensure compliant responses.

You will prepare proposals across multiple service areas, assist with interview preparation, and potentially support long-term pursuit strategies for key clients and projects. The role requires strong writing and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, English, or similar.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in the A/E/C industry.
• InDesign and graphic design skills, preferred.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Photoshop.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Collaborative team player.
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, organized, and detail oriented.
• Sense of urgency to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously while maintaining quality.
• Ability to work successfully with minimal oversight.
• Ability to collaborate successfully with diverse personalities.
• Ability to set schedules for proposal and presentation efforts, assign and oversee the completion of tasks, and keep them on schedule.
• Travel may be required, but minimal.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-quality proposals from start to finish.
• Work in a partnership with technical staff to prepare compliant responses.
• Will be responsible for preparing proposals for multiple service areas.
• Assisting with interview preparation and coaching.
• May also support the long-term pursuit strategy for specific clients and projects.
