Job summary

Qualifications

• Ten years of professional writing experience in marketing, public relations, proposal development, or business communications, including five years in healthcare.
• Experience leading people and cross-functional teams on RFPs, RFIs, or comparable opportunities.
• Experience improving business processes and managing a proposal content database or enterprise content repository.
• Strong planning, prioritization, resource management, and knowledge management skills.
• Strong leadership, strategic writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation development abilities.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear content and influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team responsible for proposal development services, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, recognition, and development.
• Develop team capability in proposal development, strategic writing, presentations, consultation, data literacy, and process improvement.
• Deliver proposal strategies, responses, presentations, and related materials meeting quality, timing, compliance, and brand expectations.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with business partners, subject matter experts, sales teams, and leaders.
• Analyze performance, stakeholder feedback, workload, and outcomes to identify improvements.
• Implement process, workflow, automation, and tool enhancements to improve quality and efficiency.
• Oversee governance and usability of proposal content repositories and knowledge resources.
• Support partnerships by influencing stakeholders and promoting accountability.
• Understand and apply Premera’s internal controls; oversee third-party involvement for compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
