Job summary

Almac Group seeks a Proposal Development Coordinator in Souderton, PA to support the field-based Business Development team by back-up resource and by managing select accounts.

Responsibilities include coordinating packaging requirements for clinical trial products, maintaining quotes for accuracy, and liaising with Finance to facilitate invoicing, enabling the external team to focus on core client relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2+ years in a corporate sales-support or customer service role.
• Experience in direct client contact by telephone and in-person meetings in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of basic sales principles.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for packaging of products for clinical trials and advise clients to generate detailed proposals.
• Maintain quotes and ensure quote accuracy reflecting current budget information.
• Support the external Business Development team by covering tasks when workload or travel prevents meeting deadlines.
• Utilize COSMOS ERP and liaise with Finance to facilitate invoicing changes for quoted services.

Overview

Almac Group is seeking a Proposal Development Coordinator to join our team in Souderton, PA. The role supports the field-based Business Development team by providing back-up resource and by managing some accounts. The objective is to provide continuity of office-based customer service to clients, enabling the external Business Development team to focus on other activities.

Responsibilities

• Work with multinational pharmaceutical companies to define requirements for packaging of products for clinical trials, advising clients on technical aspects of clinical trial packaging to generate detailed proposals.
• Maintain quotes and ensure quote accuracy, reflecting current budget information.
• Support the external Business Development team by taking responsibility for tasks when workload or travel commitments make it difficult to meet client deadlines.
• Utilize COSMOS (ERP system) and liaise with the Finance Department to facilitate changes required for invoicing of quoted services.

Qualifications

Required Experience / Education

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 2 years in a corporate sales-support or corporate customer service role
• Experience in direct contact with clients by telephone and in-person meetings in a corporate environment
• Basic principles of sales

Preferred Experience / Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or business-related field preferred
• Experience with financial tools/forecasting systems
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry/existing customer base
• Knowledge of clinical trials and the pharmaceutical industry, knowledge of the contract packaging industry, or knowledge of logistics/supply chain management
• Knowledge of the packaging and distribution of clinical trial medication highly preferred
