ALMAC Group in Durham, NC is seeking a Business Support Analyst to assist the Business Analyst in shaping digital solutions aligned with strategic goals. The role involves leading requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, testing, and business readiness while supporting assigned products and digital solutions.

You will collaborate across teams, drive backlog prioritization, and monitor KPIs to propose improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years' experience in design and delivery of software solutions in pharma, life sciences, or healthcare.
• 2+ years' experience in requirements analysis and elicitation for software products using agile or waterfall.
• 2+ years' experience facilitating and executing testing of software products.
• 2+ years' experience managing multiple deliverables from initiation to delivery.
• Experience in a multi-team environment meeting key milestones.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Analyst in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements alongside system design requirements for large scale projects.
• Lead analyzing, and documenting business user requirements alongside system design requirements for small/medium scale projects.
• Ensure requirements are complete, feasible, and aligned with strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution design meets business needs.
• Write and execute PQ/UAT tests; track and resolve defects.
• Delivering business readiness activities including training, internal and external communications, SOP updates.
• Support management and prioritization of product backlogs; act as SME for assigned products.
• Monitor KPIs for assigned products, analyze trends, and propose actions for improvement.

Almac Group is currently seeking a Business Support Analyst for our Durham, NC location. The Business Support Analyst is responsible for supporting the Business Analyst with driving the discovery, design, and delivery of digital solutions that align with Almac's strategic goals. The Business Support Analyst will support and lead requirements analysis, facilitate stakeholder engagement, support testing, and business readiness, and ensuring continuous improvement of digital products and services. Additionally, the Business Support Analyst will provide support for assigned products and digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• REQUIREMENTS & DESIGN
  • Support Business Analyst in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business user requirements alongside system design requirements for large scale projects.
  • Lead analyzing, and documenting business user requirements alongside system design requirements for small/medium scale projects.
  • Ensure requirements are complete, feasible, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution design meets business needs.
• PRODUCT & SOLUTION DELIVERY
  • Writing and executing PQ/UAT tests; track and resolve defects.
  • Delivering assigned business readiness activities including, training (ELC's) internal and external communications, SOP update coordination as required.
• PRODUCT OWNERSHIP & SUPPORT
  • Support management and prioritization of product backlogs.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned products.
  • Where necessary, support issue resolution, bug fixes, and enhancements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned products, analyze trends, and collaborate with business and customer stakeholders to propose and implement actions for improvement

Required Experience / Education

• Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years' experience in design and delivery of software solutions within the pharmaceutical, life sciences or healthcare industries.
• 2+ years' experience performing requirements analysis and elicitation for software products and solutions using agile and waterfall methodologies
• 2+ years' experience facilitating and executing testing of software products and solutions
• 2+ years' experience managing multiple deliverables from product initiation through to delivery.
• 2+ years' experience working in a multi-team environment with ability to meet key milestones
• Pharmaceutical / Clinical trials process knowledge
• Effective communication methods for project stakeholders at a senior or executive level
• Information Systems

Preferred Experience / Education

• BA Degree in a Life Science, Business, Mathematics or IT discipline.
• 2+ years' Experience in developing software products and solutions related to clinical supply management, packaging, labelling, distribution or other related clinical trial functions
