Job summary

Andersen Construction is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join the marketing team, collaborating with executive leadership, project staff, estimating, and others across the pursuit process from RFQ to Debrief. You will design cohesive proposal responses, distill complex concepts into clear visuals, and contribute to strategy and storytelling with photography and graphics.

Ideal candidates are self‑motivated designers with strong InDesign skills, grammar nerds, and the ability to distill content

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proposal or related A/E/C experience
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while delivering high‑quality work

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and coordinate proposal responses using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and other Creative Suite apps as needed
• Print and bind responses in-house or via remote printer
• Brainstorm win strategies and compelling content
• Participate in all proposal meetings (kickoff, status checks, reviews)
• Define and create interview materials and presentations
• Create responsibility matrix with roles, deadlines and assignments
• Track progress and communicate with pursuit team
• Manage multiple pursuits while meeting deadlines
• Collaborate with marketing team on social media, video, events and graphics
