Job summary

The Walsh Group seeks a Proposal Coordinator for its Long Beach, CA office supporting the Water division. You will coordinate with the proposal manager, format proposals, and ensure readability and timely submissions.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, slide deck development, researching markets, and collaborating with marketing to update collateral. A Bachelor's in marketing/graphic design/english and 2–5 years in AEC are preferred; strong writing and design skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, or English.
• 2-5 years of working experience, preferably in the AEC industry.
• Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
• Good eye for visualization, layout, and graphic design to support proposals.
• Proficiency in desktop publishing and related marketing software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with proposal manager and team to prepare proposals (formatting, layout, proofreading).
• Respond to RFQ/RFPs and create qualification materials.
• Assist in creating project write-ups, case studies, resumes for proposals and client presentations.
• Facilitate client presentation preparation, including slide deck development.
• Research, write and update information including project descriptions and resumes.
• Research competitors and markets; manage deadlines for information gathering.
• Edit proposal content for readability, consistency and compliance.
• Maintain strong relationships with staff for timely and accurate input.
• Interface with technical staff on writing, editing, and publication of documents.
• Collaborate with marketing to update marketing collateral.
