Job summary

Weaver is a full-service national accounting, advisory and consulting firm seeking a Proposal Content Specialist to produce, organize and maintain compelling content for proposals and client-facing materials.

The ideal candidate will translate executives and technical staff jargon into clear communications, manage updates to the content library, and create staff bios and pitch templates while juggling multiple assignments with flexible deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3 years of professional writing and communications experience with 1 year of exposure to proposal writing preferred.
• Experience with page layout.
• Ability to conceptualize infographics and other design elements.

Responsibilities

• Produce, organize and maintain compelling content for proposals and client-facing materials.
• Develop pursuit deliverable content that articulates Weaver’s services and industries, our knowledge and experience, and the firm’s brand.
• Compile and manage updates to the proposal team’s content library, create and update staff biographies, and build pitch deck templates.
• Interview executives and technical staff to translate jargon into clear communications.
• Manage multiple assignments with deadlines and keep stakeholders informed of progress and roadblocks.

This fast-growing national accounting and consulting firm is hiring a Proposal Content Specialist to produce, organize and maintain compelling content for use in winning proposals and client-facing materials.

The Proposal Content Specialist, will develop pursuit deliverable content that articulates Weaver’s services and industries, our deep knowledge and experience, as well as the firm’s brand, voice and culture. This specialist will also compile and manage ongoing updates to the proposal team’s content library, create and update staff biographies, and put together pitch deck templates.

The ideal candidate is comfortable interviewing executives and technical staff and can translate their technical jargon into clear, persuasive communications. The candidate must be resourceful, well‑organized and able to juggle many varied assignments at once. While this specialist remains attentive to deadlines, they can also complete projects without structured due dates. The specialist will consistently keep others informed of project progress or roadblocks as they happen. Finally, the candidate should be flexible and solutions‑oriented , ready to tackle new projects and challenges with enthusiasm.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3 years of professional writing and communications experience with 1 year of exposure to proposal writing preferred
