Job summary

DCCM in Houston, TX is seeking a Proposal Specialist to prepare proposals from concept to approval, coordinating with engineers and surveyors, and supporting federal pursuits with clients such as TxDOT and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

You will meet deadlines, create graphics and resumes, ensure quality, maintain marketing databases, design marketing materials, and act as brand ambassador across divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior A/E/C industry experience with RFQs/SOQs.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience with federal pursuits is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and visual form.

Responsibilities

• Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates; coordinates requirements and communicates status.
• Creates graphics, charts, resumes, and project descriptions as needed.
• Ensures quality and compliance of final proposal documents.
• Coordinates maintenance of marketing databases (clients/contacts, projects, resumes).
• Develops designs for postcards, e-blasts, proposal covers, tradeshow needs, presentations.
• Acts as a brand ambassador for all divisions to ensure consistent brand perception.
• Oversee TxDOT precertification application process and input updated precertifications.
• Assists with planning and coordination of marketing/corporate events.
• Performs other marketing-related tasks as directed by the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager.
