Qualifications

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and policies; present information to managers and customers.
• Ability to calculate figures, percentages, areas and volumes; apply fractions and ratios to practical situations.
• Ability to use common sense to follow instructions and solve routine problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house real estate evaluations in narrative form with market value estimates.
• Conduct appraisal reviews to ensure methods and value conclusions are reasonable and well-supported.
• Verify appraisal compliance with regulations, guidelines, and bank policy.
• Communicate appraisal deficiencies to the appraiser and follow up for corrections.
• Become knowledgeable in the RIMS appraisal management system and use it effectively.
• For in-house evaluations, perform exterior visual inspection and document findings with photos.
• Mail valuation reports in accordance with Regulation B.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
