The Title Specialist role supports survey projects by coordinating title research, tracking title products, and ensuring accurate ownership information for utility and right-of-way projects. The position requires reading legal descriptions, reviewing title documents, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure project quality and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of directly relevant experience in title or land records.
• Ability to independently request and review title searches and ownership research.
• Experience reviewing deeds, easements, title commitments or reports.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation of findings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with title companies and other providers.
• Order and track title products and conduct independent document research.
• Review title documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Interpret metes-and-bounds, lot-and-block, and PLSS descriptions for title research.
