Vistra Corporate Services Company is seeking a Property Tax Specialist in Irving, TX to own the property tax function end to end. The role collaborates with development, construction, FP&A, real estate, and fixed asset accounting on forecasts and actual payments.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years in property tax, and strong analytical, modeling, and communication skills. Hybrid work model and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMI preferred.
• 3–5 years property tax experience; Big 4 or property tax valuation background preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and property tax requirements for public companies.
• Experience managing outside tax providers with strong analytical, modeling, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the LRP property tax forecast and communicate key assumptions to upper management.
• Manage payment funding approvals and information requests across departments and jurisdictions.
• Support the protest and appeal process with outside consultants and counsel through resolution.
• Review property tax forecast models for appropriate assumptions for the development team.
• Analyze financial statements and data as they relate to tax compliance and tax planning.
