Job summary

Vistra Corp. in Irving, Texas is seeking a Property Tax Specialist to own the property tax function end to end, including forecasting, assessment review, appeals, and compliance filings.

You will coordinate with outside providers and counsel and partner with business leaders across development, FP&A, and real estate. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years of property tax experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMI, or similar certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of property tax experience; Big 4 or property tax valuation firm background preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and property tax requirements for public companies.

Responsibilities

• Own the property tax function end to end, including asset valuation, assessment review, and compliance filings.
• Manage outside tax providers, appraisers, and counsel, with collaboration across business leaders.
• Support forecasts and actual payments with development, FP&A, real estate, and fixed assets.
