Job summary

Orange County Government seeks a data analytics professional to collect, validate, analyze, and report property tax and appraisal-related data in support of the Tax Administration Department.

Responsibilities include developing analytical reports and dashboards, maintaining data quality, and assisting with data-driven decisions related to property valuation, reappraisal activities, and tax operations. Experience with CAMA and GIS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, information systems, GIS, business/public administration, or closely related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in data analysis, data management, real estate, appraisal, or related analytical work.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• A higher degree does not substitute for work experience.

• Collect, validate, analyze, and report property tax and appraisal-related data.
• Develop analytical reports and dashboards.
• Maintain data quality within appraisal and tax systems.
• Assist with data-driven decision making for valuation and tax administration.
• Analyze data from CAMA, GIS, and other County databases.
