Job summary

DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. is seeking a staff-level associate to support the preparation of returns for existing clients, coordinate with taxing jurisdictions, and ensure timely completion of property tax compliance tasks.

This role offers exposure to high-volume processing and collaboration with a team of tax professionals. The position emphasizes accuracy, quick learning of tax software, and strong communication with clients and jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to complete high volume work in a timely and highly accurate manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to learn tax compliance software quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research and review of jurisdictional tax notices and tax bills for assigned clients.
• Assist with tax bill processing, funding request processing, and payment.
• Assist with property tax data analysis and return preparation for assigned clients.
• Respond to client and jurisdictional inquiries.
