Job summary

Wanderlust Luxury Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented Property Standards Lead to oversee the condition, cleanliness, and readiness of our luxury vacation rental homes throughout the Santa Barbara area.

You will serve as the primary property inspector, coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations to ensure each home meets our high standards and contributes to an exceptional guest experience. This role also includes oversight of a flagship multi-unit property.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, property management, housekeeping supervision, or estate management preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties.
• Comfortable working in the field in a fast-paced environment.
• Must currently reside in the Santa Barbara area.
• Availability to work 20-40 hours per week, including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-arrival inspections to ensure properties are clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready.
• Lead inspector across the luxury property portfolio.
• Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely completion.
• Identify maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation issues and coordinate their resolution.
• Maintain inspection checklists and property standards.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams.
• Provide hands-on support to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Schedule: Part-time to Full-time | 20-40 hours per week

Wanderlust Luxury Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Property Standards Lead to oversee the condition, cleanliness, and readiness of our luxury vacation rental homes throughout the Santa Barbara area.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining beautiful properties, notices issues before guests do, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will serve as our primary property inspector, working closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations to ensure every home meets Wanderlust's high standards.

The position also includes oversight of a prestigious boutique multi-unit luxury property, offering additional responsibility and the opportunity to take ownership of a flagship asset.

What You'll Do
