What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide field risk engineering services to meet underwriting requirements
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and reduce losses
- Support underwriting teams by attending client broker meetings
- Conduct field engineering services for larger accounts and prospects in the region
- Deliver advanced property consultative services, identifying exposures with significant loss potential
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years of experience in Risk Engineering, or
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in Risk Engineering, or
- Zurich Certified Apprentice with an Associate's degree and 3 or more years of experience in Risk Engineering
- Experience working in a team environment
- Relevant experience in risk assessment according to LOB specific competency standards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or related field
- HPR Property experience
- Loss control/Risk Engineering experience within the insurance industry
- Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)
- Strong communication, consultative, and collaborative skills
