Job summary

AIG is seeking an Associate Actuary to support North America Property Pricing. You will partner with pricing actuaries, cat modelers, and reserving actuaries to implement best practices and assess risk across Retail, Lexington, and Canada.

The role requires ACAS credentials and 5+ years of commercial lines actuarial experience, with strong communication skills to present analyses to senior leadership. Office-based work supports collaboration and timely decision making.

Qualifications

• ACAS credential required or in progress with eligibility.
• 5+ years of commercial lines actuarial experience, preferably with property pricing.
• Exceptional communication skills for presenting analyses to senior management.
• Willingness to continuously learn in a dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of catastrophe modeling fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing and underwriting strategies with leadership to identify profitable opportunities.
• Review and improve pricing system parameters and ensure adherence to methodologies.
• Coordinate with cat modeling team to assess risk-adjusted returns and capital needs.
• Create analytical tools for underwriters to assess insured risks across Lexington properties.
• Collaborate with reserving actuaries to understand reserve development drivers.
• Provide recommendations on rating methodologies and pricing tools.
