KH Properties in Jackson, MS is seeking a driven Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations of an established apartment community. You'll work closely with the Property Manager to drive occupancy, monitor financial performance, and ensure smooth leasing, collections, maintenance coordination, and on-site administration.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, execution-focused, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting property operations such as leasing activity, resident communications, rent collections, and coordinating maintenance or vendor services.
• Proven ability to supervise or lead others is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents, team members, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the property, ensuring leasing, collections, maintenance coordination, and administrative processes run smoothly.
• Support the on-site team, Leasing staff, and Maintenance personnel.
• Make day-to-day operational decisions to resolve issues and uphold property standards.
• Drive occupancy through proactive leasing strategies, renewals, and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure timely rent collection, financial reporting, and compliance with company and state guidelines.
• Serve as the point of contact for residents and address concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve property performance and resident retention.
