HME Companies seeks a Property Operations Coordinator to support daily operations across our portfolio of multifamily properties in Brookings, SD. This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and staying organized within a collaborative team.

You will assist Property Managers, coordinate move-ins and turnovers, manage admin tasks, review applications, and support resident relations.

Qualifications

• Multifamily housing experience or leasing experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and similar software.
• Ability to learn and become proficient with our property management software.

Responsibilities

• Directly support the Property Managers with daily operations activities.
• Collaborate with the Multifamily Director of Operations and team to support goals.
• Provide on-site support at managed properties.
• Coordinate move-ins and onboarding experiences.
• Assist with unit turnovers and maintain records.
• Review applications for accuracy and completeness; assist with resident retention.
