Job summary

Skyline RV Resort is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations for our family RV park and campground located between Buffalo and Rochester, NY. The role reports to the Operations Manager and includes enforcing rules, managing staff, monitoring expenses, and guiding capital improvements.

Responsibilities include maintaining occupancy, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations, and providing weekly reports.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Asset or Property Management.
• Flexible with work hours, including occasional weekends.
• Ability to actively walk through the park and facilities while performing work duties.
• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Great communication skills a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with Rent Manager management software or willingness to quickly learn it.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property including property, staff, buildings, and incidents.
• Ensure 100% compliance with company Home Office standards around well-maintained properties.
• Manage an established property budget – not exceeding the costs and capital allocated, "thinking like an owner".
• Enforce the Park's rules and regulations, follow all applicable safety procedures while promoting positive guest relations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and park operations.
• Maintain and increase occupancy rates.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting on a weekly basis.
• Perform a variety of duties associated with maintenance and related programs.
• Attract new customers and guests through excellent customer service, social media and other marketing sources.
• Prepare end-of-year goals and objectives for the following year working with Home Office to set up the operational budget for the coming year.
• Partner with HR to recruit, hire and train employees.
• Partner with Marketing on all marketing materials for the property.
• Keep accounts receivable down and ensure the collection process is being followed.
• Other job‑related duties or special projects as assigned.
