Job summary

Northwest Real Estate Capital Corp. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations of our Beaverton-area apartment communities. This role provides hands-on property management experience and exposure to the operations of a multi-property portfolio.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, willing to take on responsibilities, and ready to grow within property management. Reports to the Property Manager and collaborates with residents, vendors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 2 years of hospitality, office management or administrative experience preferred.
• Professional training may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency with computer software including MS Office; familiarity with Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager by providing high quality service to residents with efficient operation of the building.
• Assist in collection of rent and other income.
• Prepare and deliver notices to residents (e.g., lease violations, terminations, non-payment).
• Work with the Property Manager to market the property and maintain a positive community image.
• Coordinate rentals, move-ins/move-outs, and lease renewals; engage with residents to maximize occupancy and retention.
• Perform janitorial tasks as needed and support other duties as assigned.
