Job summary

RADCO is seeking an experienced Property Manager for a multifamily community in Illinois. You will lead both the office and maintenance teams, drive marketing and leasing initiatives, and ensure financial performance and excellent resident service.

The role requires at least three years of property management experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office and YARDI. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for local travel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of property management experience in multifamily.
  • Strong marketing skills to develop a property marketing plan and oversee outside marketing.
  • Solid financial acumen to read, interpret, and update financial reports and statements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills providing for effective verbal and written communication with residents, team members, peers, vendors, owners, etc.
  • Ability to de-escalate and respond sensitively to customer service-related concerns.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively delegate and manage a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • YARDI experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Train, empower, and motivate the office and maintenance team through team building activities and ongoing training.
  • Assist in budget preparation and manage expenses to align with property goals.
  • Oversee office operations, policies, and procedures, and maintain curb appeal and community cleanliness.
  • Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to align maintenance activities with property goals.
  • Promote resident satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and taking appropriate action.
  • Ensure property financial performance and strong resident experience while meeting KPI targets.
  • Implement lead capture methods to gather information from potential renters.
  • Manage relationships with owners and provide updates on property performance.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, packets, schedules, and billing.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Train, empower, and motivate the office and maintenance team through team building activities, 1 on 1 meetings, continuous support and training, providing feedback, etc
  • Assist in budget preparation and manage expenses to align with property goals
  • Responsible for office operations, communicating policies and procedures, ensuring quality curb appeal, and community cleanliness
  • Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all maintenance related activities and initiatives are in alignment with property goals
  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to concerns, questions, and requests in a timely manner, and taking appropriate action to resolve and address service issues
  • Ensures property financial performance and a great resident experience while meeting property specific KPI’s
  • Implement lead capture forms or contact methods to gather information from potential customers interested in leasing
  • Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners, conducting property tours, providing updates and information about the property performance, and responding to Regional Managers regarding owner requests as needed
  • Manage and maintain vendor relationships, to include vendor packets, schedules, and billing
  • May be required to conduct competitor property visits, market surveys, and local market research as needed to support leasing and operational objectives.
