Job summary

Qualifications

• COS designation required or an equivalent degree substituted for COS.
• Minimum two years of property management experience at a supervisory level.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; basic accounting knowledge.
• Basic computer literacy with WordPerfect experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to District Manager or President as directed.
• Train and supervise management and administrative personnel.
• Supervise and set priorities for maintenance supervisor.
• Perform written evaluations and salary recommendations for supervised employees.
• Interact professionally with Members, Residents, and Board of Directors.
• Make purchasing decisions within a $500 purchasing limit.
• Control vacancies including marketing, turnover, and new applicant processing.
• Operate property within budget and report variances to supervisor.
• Oversee rent collections and related charges and Damages.
• Maintain safe, sanitary conditions on the property at all times.
• Report emergencies and prepare required reports.
• Prepare HUD vouchers and other required reports.
