Job summary

Housing Trust Group in Florida is seeking a seasoned Property Manager to oversee operation of multiple tax credit properties. You will supervise maintenance, budgeting, collections, tenant relations, and compliance with applicable laws.

You will lead site staff, coordinate repairs, analyze variances, and ensure occupancy targets while controlling operating expenses. This full-time role offers benefits and an opportunity to contribute to a growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of tax credit property management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple properties at a high performance level.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal property laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA inspections weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Maintain building systems and supervise all repairs.
• Manage day-to-day operations of multiple units, including 24/7 emergencies.
• Assist Leasing Representative to maintain high occupancy.
• Communicate effectively with tenants throughout tenancy.
• Read and interpret contract service agreements and legal docs.
• Administer and coordinate collection procedures and rent collection.
• Enforce rental agreements and building rules.
• Coordinate financial reporting and communicate with staff and management.
• Schedule and complete assigned projects; manage expenses.
• Analyze budgets and variances; participate in annual budgets.
• Evaluate contracts and negotiate pricing for new contracts.
• Interview and hire site staff; supervise and train staff.
• Manage safety programs and building security measures.
