WesleyLiving in Memphis, TN is seeking a Property Manager to lead the St. Peter Manor community, directing daily operations, leasing, and resident relations with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will supervise staff, manage occupancy and budgets, and uphold policy adherence while coordinating with service teams to foster a supportive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a supervisory position required.
• Associate's Degree or higher and certifications in field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, electronic, face-to-face.
• Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Exhibit or attain proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Office products, HUD online systems, and industry specific software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the community.
• Manage the waiting list, conduct tours, and oversee the leasing process from application to move-in.
• Collect rent and coordinate with vendors to ensure cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
• Serve as primary contact for residents and families; resolve conflicts with empathy while enforcing standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep the building clean, accessible, and hazard-free for residents.
• Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to engage residents with local resources.

Description: Property Manager – Memphis, TN Full-time | 40 hours per week | $60,000

We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented, and dependable leader who can use their interpersonal and customer service skills to lead our senior living community. You will run the day-to-day operations of our community at St. Peter Manor while maintaining a pleasant and engaging environment for staff and residents. This role will ensure that the property adheres to company policies while also following applicable laws and regulations. Multi-tasking, timeliness, consistent enforcement of policy, and ability to quickly adapt as situations arise will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance & Administration: Oversee all aspects of compliance. This includes managing initial certifications, annual recertifications, and ensuring all resident files are audit-ready.
• Occupancy Management: Manage the waiting list, conduct tours, and oversee the leasing process from application to move-in.
• Financial Oversight: Collect rent and work with vendors to ensure cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
• Resident Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for residents and their families. You’ll resolve conflicts with empathy while maintaining firm community standards.
• Safety & Maintenance: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure the building remains clean, accessible, and hazard-free for residents with varying mobility needs.
• Community Building: Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to encourage social engagement and connect residents with local resources (food assistance, transportation, healthcare).
