Job summary

Gates Hudson is seeking a Property Manager to oversee all property operations in Arlington, VA. The role involves coordinating people, activities and resources to meet property objectives set by the Regional Manager and Owner, with a focus on maximizing occupancy and property values.

You will train the Assistant Property Manager to assume duties in your absence and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and Gates Hudson policies.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years’ experience as a Property Manager preferred.
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant, ADA and fair housing law.

Responsibilities

• Manage property operations and staff to maximize occupancy and property value.
• Train and supervise on-site staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Handle accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash flow in line with budget.
• Coordinate leasing approvals, renewals and compliance with policies.
• Lead marketing and resident relations to improve retention.
• Oversee property maintenance, safety, and vendor coordination.
• Prepare and manage budget adherence and reporting.
