Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations at a Sacramento property, supervise staff, and drive financial and operational goals.

You will manage leasing, inspections, and resident relations while enforcing AMC policies and OSHA/Fair Housing compliance. The role includes hiring, scheduling, retention programs, and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of property management experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Knowledge in Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within financial guidelines.
• Perform daily property inspections and coordinate with maintenance.
• Supervise all staff including scheduling, duties, and conflict resolution.
• Interview and hire property employees.
• Ensure AMC policies and procedures are upheld and infractions reported.
• Meet leasing objectives with effective sales techniques, including first-hand leasing.
• Handle resident requests or concerns with discretion.
• Take responsibility for administrative duties and required reporting.
• Design and maintain resident retention programs and events.
• Develop and implement marketing and advertising concepts for property staff.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Fair Housing, and AMC safety guidelines.
• Investigate and report incidents involving residents, employees, vendors, or others.
