Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations of the property, supervise staff, and achieve budgeted financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities include inspections, coordinating with maintenance, hiring and training employees, ensuring policy compliance, meeting leasing objectives, handling resident requests, and developing retention and marketing programs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property management experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Knowledge in Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within financial guidelines.
• Perform daily inspections and coordinate with the maintenance team.
• Supervise staff, including work schedules and conflict resolution.
• Interview and hire property employees.
• Ensure AMC policies and procedures are upheld and infractions reported.
• Meet leasing objectives with effective sales techniques.
• Handle resident requests or concerns with independent judgment.
• Carry out administrative duties including required reporting.
• Implement and maintain resident retention and marketing programs.
• Design/maintain marketing concepts for staff to implement.
• Ensure OSHA, Fair Housing and AMC safety guidelines compliance.
