Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is a leader in the property management industry, offering competitive compensation, benefits, and incentive programs. We seek a Property Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and achieve budgeted financial and operational goals.

The role requires 1-2 years of property management experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Responsibilities include leasing, staffing, compliance, marketing, and resident relations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property management experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge in Fair Housing.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within financial guidelines.
• Perform daily inspections of the property and coordinate with the maintenance team.
• Maintain direct supervision of all staff, including work schedules and duties.
• Interview and hire all property employees.
• Ensure AMC policies and procedures are upheld and infractions are reported.
• Meet leasing objectives by using proper sales techniques.
• Exercise independent judgment to handle resident requests or concerns.
• Take responsibility for administrative duties including reporting.
• Implement and maintain a resident retention program (newsletter, referrals, social events).
• Design/maintain marketing and advertising concepts for property staff to implement.
• Ensure property compliance with OSHA, Fair Housing, and AMC safety guidelines.
• Investigate and report incidents involving residents, employees, vendors or others.
