  • Collects and deposits rents and security deposits.
  • Obtains signatures and paperwork from residents and submits data to corporate office.
  • Maintains petty cash account and receipts.

Position: Property Manager HUD Location: Mobile, AL Job Id: 9755 # of Openings:1 Program: HUD Housing Position: Property Manager Reports to: Community Administrator FLSA Status: Non Exempt Function: The Property Manager is responsible for maintaining compliance for all aspects of the operations of the complex in accordance with organizational goals and policies and procedures. HUD regulations, fire, safety, health requirements and corporate policies and procedures are requirements that must be met by the Property Manager. Know How: The position requires a high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license, knowledge of fair housing laws and landlord/tenant rights. Computerized data entry and clerical skills a must. Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.

Principal Activities:
  • Manages HUD activities as assigned in compliance with HUD regulations.
  • Operates with a balanced budget.
  • Manages property in compliance with all regulating agencies (fire, safety, health, HUD, etc).
  • Develops and maintains effective tenant services and acts as liaison with community resources in order to meet the needs of tenants.
  • Develops and maintains positive public relations.
  • Performs leasing activities in compliance with HUD regulations.
  • Collects and deposits rents, security deposits
  • Obtains required signatures/paperwork from residents, conducts unit inspections and submits all required data to the corporate office in a timely manner.
  • Maintains petty cash account and receipts.
