Job summary

Fortis Property Management is seeking a Property Manager to lead a conventional community. You will manage budgets, collect rents, analyze financials, and drive market occupancy while delivering exceptional resident service.

You’ll oversee on-site staff, coordinate maintenance, and implement retention programs. A background in multi-family management and PM software experience are essential, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years multi-family property management experience.
• Strong marketing and sales background.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio).
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in annual operating budget preparation and monitoring.
• Collect rents and manage expenses within budget.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Market and promote community to keep occupancy high.
• Develop resident retention and high-quality customer service.
• Present leases and renewals at competitive rates.
• Oversee maintenance and on-site operations.
• Supervise on-site staff and contractors.
