Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Property Management Manager in Dallas, TX to oversee the operational and financial activities of a flagship Class A campus.

You will supervise the onsite team, coordinate daily facilities operations, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships with owners and vendors.

The role is fully onsite in Dallas, Monday–Friday, with a focus on leadership, adherence to CBRE standards, and delivering reliable reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have experience with Commercial Class A office space.
  • Ability to guide sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team and impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor training and development; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities; establish schedules and cross-train staff.
  • Respond to escalated tenant needs and issues.
  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures; review quotes for parts, services, and labor.
  • Act as primary contact with property owners and prepare timely, complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses; forecast plans and monthly reports.
  • Help create programs for emergency recoveries.
  • Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
  • Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.

This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday in Dallas, TXwith little to no travel and will require commercial property management withClass A office operations experience

What You’ll Do
  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Respond to escalated tenant needs and issues.
  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs andmaintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships andconduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and invoicingprocedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, andlabor for projects.
  • Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
  • Help create programs that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.
  • Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Must hold experience with Commercial Class A office space.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
