Base Pay Range

$12.00/hr - $16.00/hr

We are hiring a qualified and motivated Assistant Property Manager to support general activities at the property. Responsibilities include scheduling viewings, inspecting conditions, overseeing maintenance, and reporting issues to the Property Manager.

The main goal is to provide excellent customer service to tenants, answering questions and making them feel welcomed. You will also organize resident files, records, contracts, and payments. Ideal candidates have strong communication, customer service, organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Property Manager with daily operations
  • Build positive relationships with tenants
  • Inspect properties and monitor maintenance
  • Coordinate with service providers (plumbers, HVAC, etc.)
  • Resolve tenant issues and concerns
  • Manage resident files and records
  • Create marketing materials to attract tenants
  • Assist tenants with property-related questions
  • Handle payments and notices
  • Report issues to the Property Manager
  • Ensure compliance with laws and standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or management is a plus
  • Experience in property management or real estate
  • Knowledge of industry laws and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of regional and national real estate laws
