Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Property Manager for Homestead Village in Van Wert, OH to oversee daily operations of affordable housing community. You will ensure compliance, maintain high occupancy, supervise staff, and support positive resident relations.

The role requires leadership, budgeting, and strong knowledge of housing regulations, with on-site responsibilities and a focus on regulatory compliance and quality service to residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of affordable housing property management experience.
• CPM or ARM certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housing regulations, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage property operations, budgets, and policies.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and related programs.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, rent collection, and occupancy.
• Address resident concerns and coordinate move-ins/outs.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate on-site staff.
• Oversee maintenance, inspections, and safety standards.
• Prepare and submit required compliance reports.
• Valid driver’s license and able to meet National Church Residences’ motor policy.
• Ensure Fair Housing compliance, accurate waiting lists, and organized tenant files while maintaining strong MOR and REAC inspection outcomes.
