Job summary

Merdan Management is seeking a Property Manager (Full Time, In Person) to run day-to-day operations in central Connecticut. You’ll split time between the office and properties, driving between sites and coordinating with owners and contractors.

You’ll manage tenant communications, scheduling, leases, inspections, and records, while building growth with the owners and expanding the portfolio. Must be organized, proactive, and able to travel regularly across central CT.

Property Manager (Full Time, In Person) Central Connecticut

Merdan Management is a property management company that manages multifamily properties across central Connecticut. We’re expanding our management services to other property owners and looking to hire our first full-time property manager to run day-to-day operations and grow with us.

You’ll work hand in hand with the owners and operators of the company to handle the admin and organizational side of the operation. This role is split between office work and time in the field, with regular driving to the properties.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for tenants, in person and through Buildium
• Schedule contractors, manage work orders, and oversee unit turnovers
• Lease vacant units: listings, showings, screening and lease signing
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections
• Keep records, documents and the weekly calendar organized
• Work directly with ownership on priorities, projects and new properties

Requirements

• Strong organization and time management
• Self-starter who takes initiative and gets things done
• Excellent follow-up and communication, friendly and firm when needed
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license, with regular travel to properties across central CT

Preferred

• Real estate, property management, or work order experience
• CT real estate license, or willingness to get one

Pay:

$45,000 to $50,000 base salary, plus potential leasing commissions once licensed.
