Job summary

Cory Executive Recruiting is seeking a General Manager for a brand-new, Class A luxury lease-up in San Francisco, CA. You will oversee all day-to-day operations through lease-up and stabilization, including leasing, maintenance, and concierge, while delivering five-star hospitality and brand presentation.

You will partner with revenue management on pricing strategy, manage budgets and asset reports, and build a best-in-class on-site team from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Strong lease-up experience with Class A luxury properties.
• Proven experience creating, managing, and presenting budgets, financial reports, and variance reports to Asset Management.
• Demonstrated success leading leasing, maintenance, and concierge teams.
• Owner-operator background preferred; candidates from third-party management considered based on experience.
• Hands-on, service-first leadership style with strong market knowledge.

Exciting Opportunity: General Manager - Class A Luxury Lease-Up

About our Client:

A national owner-operator opening a brand-new, high-rise, Class A luxury community in the heart of San Francisco, CA.

Your Responsibilities as a Leader:

• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the property through lease-up and stabilization, including office, leasing, maintenance, and concierge functions.
• Create, manage, and present budgets, monthly asset reports, and variance reports directly to Asset Management.
• Hire, train, and develop the on-site team across leasing, maintenance, and concierge, building a best-in-class service culture from the ground up.
• Partner with revenue management and leasing leadership on pricing strategy, target markets, and lease-up velocity.
• Own resident relations and the full resident experience, ensuring five-star hospitality standards and brand presentation at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all Fair Housing regulations and federal, state, and local requirements at the site level.

The Skills and Experience you Possess:

• Strong lease-up experience with Class A luxury properties required.
• Proven experience creating, managing, and presenting budgets, financial reports, and variance reports to Asset Management.
• Demonstrated success leading leasing, maintenance, and concierge teams.
• Owner-operator background strongly preferred; exceptional candidates from third-party management will be considered depending on company pedigree and experience.
• Strong financial acumen, market knowledge, and a hands‑on, service‑first leadership style.
