West Coast Self-Storage in Portland seeks a dedicated full-time Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our facility and deliver exceptional customer service. You will drive occupancy and revenue through strong people skills and strategic store planning.

The role requires managing pricing, maintenance coordination, vendor relations, and the leasing process while ensuring financial controls and outstanding customer experience.

Competenze

• Experience in customer service and sales with a focus on delivering excellent customer care.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily operations.
• Willingness to work weekends and some holidays; proficient with MS Office.

Mansioni

• Provide exceptional customer service by assessing storage needs in person, by phone, and online.
• Create store plan to hit monthly and annual budgets.
• Manage web pricing and discounts.
• Maintain property to Clean & Operational standards (cleaning vacated units, sweeps, bulbs).
• Coordinate with vendors and CapEx projects.
• Drive the auction process and show units, guiding customers through leasing.
• Balance cash drawer and petty cash; perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Full-time, working Tues-Sat (Off Sun/Mon) from 7:30am-4:00pm.

Day To Day

• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
• Create store plan to hit budget monthly and annually
• Web pricing and discount management
• Ensure property is maintained to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs
• Manage Vendors and Cap Ex projects
• Drive auction process
• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
• Other duties assigned by leadership

What You Will Bring

• Retail Sales, Cash Management, and Customer Service experience
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to achieve team and company objectives
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required)
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
