Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage is hiring a full-time Property Manager for our Greenfield location. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales, manage the leasing process, and ensure excellent customer service across in-person, phone, and web inquiries.

Qualifications include retail sales and cash handling experience, strong self-management, and proficiency with MS Office. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Ability to manage cash drawer and daily cash balancing.
• Comfort with weekends and some holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for storage needs in person, by phone, and online.
• Develop store plans to meet monthly and annual budgets.
• Manage pricing, discounts, and web pricing strategies.
• Maintain property standards and oversee maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage CapEx projects.
• Conduct store tours and guide customers through leasing.
• Handle cash, reports, and petty cash with accuracy.
• Support leadership with day-to-day operations.

Schedule: Full-time, Tues-Sat (Off Sun/Mon) working from 9:45am-6:15pm. Schedule is subject to change depending on facility coverage.

Day To Day

• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
• Create store plan to hit budget monthly and annually
• Web pricing and discount management
• Ensure property is maintained to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs
• Manage Vendors and Cap Ex projects
• Drive auction process
• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
• Other duties assigned by leadership

What You Will Bring

• Retail Sales, Cash Management, and Customer Service experience
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to achieve team and company objectives
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required)
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
