VPG is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Multi‑Family Property Manager to oversee the operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong property management background, focusing on enhancing tenant satisfaction, optimizing property performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a customer‑centric approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well‑maintained and meet company standards.
Manage tenant relations by addressing concerns promptly and effectively to foster positive relationships.
Assist the leasing team in marketing available units, conducting tours, and processing applications.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Section 8 housing requirements.
Use property management software Yardi to track leases, maintenance requests, and tenant communications efficiently.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to oversee facilities management and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
Prepare and manage budgets for each property while monitoring expenses to optimize profitability.
Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Develop and implement customer service strategies that enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
Maintain accurate records of property operations, financial transactions, and tenant interactions.
Coordinate with the make‑ready team to move between assignments, purchase supplies, and conduct quality walk‑throughs.
