Job summary

Genuine Search Group in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial retail and mixed-use properties. You will handle tenant relations, coordinate vendors, and supervise maintenance and security across multiple sites.

Role requires traveling throughout Northern and Central New Jersey, strong organizational skills, and an autonomous, hands-on approach within a collaborative regional team.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of service
• Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors responsible for maintenance, security, cleaning, and other property services
• Dispatch and manage maintenance personnel and contractors as needed
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual maintenance obligations are fulfilled
• Conduct regular property visits and inspections to identify and resolve operational issues
• Oversee properties with on-site personnel while taking a hands-on approach to assets without on-site staff
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Work closely with another Property Manager as part of a collaborative regional team
• Maintain a high level of organization while independently managing priorities across multiple properties

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial property management experience
• Retail property management experience strongly preferred; office or other commercial real estate experience will also be considered
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day property operations and vendor management
• Experience managing third-party service providers and contractors
• Excellent tenant relations and communication skills
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently
• Ability to travel throughout Northern and Central New Jersey on a regular basis
• Professional presence with the ability to effectively manage relationships across multiple properties
