Responsibilities

1. Oversee one or more multi-family apartment complexes.
2. Manage all income (rents) and expenses for the properties.
3. Lead, motivate, and manage onsite teams, including leasing agents.
4. Handle paperwork flow between prospective residents and the corporate office.
5. Follow up on maintenance and repair requests to keep properties in excellent condition.
6. Address resident complaints via phone calls and ensure ongoing resident satisfaction.
7. Collect monthly rents and administer collection procedures as needed.
8. Audit apartment complexes to ensure high quality standards.
9. Successfully pass annual Section 8 unit screening to maintain revenue.
10. Perform routine drive-by and walk-through inspections at various times of the day/night.
11. Treat tenants and properties with care and responsibility.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and mobile communication tools.
• Experience with the Yardi property management platform.
• At least 3 years of property management experience; multi-site management is a plus.
• Willing to work flexible hours to show units.
• Reliable automobile is required.
